Perfect Day! A nice lady took me and Mom and Dad's picture together.

I love my Mom and she loves me!!

I have to say it...'fields of gold'.

So great.

This picture is just for RF...we did not go to H. E. double toothpicks...in fact, we are on Ensign peak, just a half mile from Kolob...and it's a good ride.

Quail Fire - Nature's Fourth

My backyard has seen better days. This is shortly (within 2 hours?) after the Quail Fire began 7/3/12.

This was the view from in front of my house at about the same time as the backyard picture. 7/3/12. I thought it was an earthquake...I did know it was something that wasn't right.

This is the next day - 7/4/12 - the fourth of July. It shows the burn area pretty well. We were evacuated at this point (for two nights) and me and my Mom drove back in to check it out. The red color on the hill is the fire retardant. The planes and helicopters were loud.

This is today 7/5/12. Joyful rain helped the situation and we got to go home.

Here I am doing one of my jobs...bringing in the mail. You can see part of the burn area behind me with a helicopter above me and to the right. How great is it that I needed an umbrella to get the mail?

This Was A Fun Day

Me and Dad flew to Las Vegas, got the limo treatment from the airport to pick up Dad's new car and then we drove it home with "The Doors" playing full blast. Now I just need my driver's license.

Cecret Lake, Almost

We wanted to hike to Cecret Lake, but the dirt road was closed, so we did plan B and just hiked on the dirt road. I always manage to find the magic in any situation, though.

This is above Alta Ski Resort.

A nice cool little stream to play in.

A Happy Surprise! Balloon Reveal

My pregnant sister invited us to a party at her house to surprise us by revealing if she was going to have a boy or a girl.

Totally BLUE!  YAY!!!

For sure a boy.  But, stay tuned because there might be more to this surprise!!!!  There is and I can't wait to tell you.
